  3. Oberg, A. (2023, May). Reading the Bible Philosophically: Exploring Genesis’ First Creation Account. This talk was given in English with Japanese translation. The Japanese title (slightly altered from the English) is:「西洋思想の根源をたどる―聖書の創生ものがたりを哲学する」。Presented at the International Japan Lecture Series hosted by the University of Kochi, Kochi City, Kochi Prefecture, Japan.

  12. Oberg, A. (2019, November). 浦上崩れと土佐 (This talk was given in Japanese, the English translation of the title is: The Urakami "Fourth Wave" Persecution and the Tosa Domain.) Presented at the 民話について考える:言語文化の視座から (Thinking about Folklore: From the Viewpoint of Linguistic Culture) public symposium hosted by the University of Kochi, Kochi City, Kochi Prefecture, Japan. The university later published a booklet of summaries of the various talks, the document I prepared for this can be found here: "The Urakami 'Fourth Wave' Persecution and the Tosa Domain: Hidden Christians, Maria Kannon statues, and the flow of history and faith".
